Ability to listen, concentrate and remain seated throughout is required.
Bricks4kidz
This class provides fun but structured activities using Lego bricks. We have either 2 or 3 stations that the children rotate around, so concentration skills are not as demanding. The ability to understand written instructions are required however our sessions are tailored to suit each age group.
POLICIES
Medical and Educational needs or requirements.
We try to provide an all inclusive environment in our afterschool provision. However it is imperative that ALL information is detailed upon registration for your child's needs. The school are not in a position to disclose these details. Please complete ALL required fields on registration. We rely on the information given by parents and carers to ensure we can provide the right environment and that the class is suitable for each child. Please note that our staff are not SEN trained. Due to the 1:20 instructor to children ratio it is outside our capabilities to offer 1:1 attention/supervision, however we welcome parents to join their child in the workshop if they currently receive 1:1 in order to achieve the most enjoyable experience for your child
Behaviour Policy
Although it is quite rare, we do at times have to address Behaviour issues. We aim to provide a safe and fun experience for all children. Due to the limited time of each session our instructors cannot continuously stop throughout the workshop to address behaviour as it not only takes away the fun, but results in a rushed experience. In order to avoid this, we operate on a two strikes behaviour policy, if your child jeopardises the experience of the other children through the listed behaviours below:Bad language, inappropriate conversation, rude manners and hitting other childrenAfter the first instance we will address the concern with you the parent, however if the behaviour continues, your child will be removed from the course with no refund being provided.
